I thought you might be interested in learning more about John McCain the man, rather than the candidate. In case you missed the post:
1. He divorced the wife who waited 5 years for his return from Nam because she was disfigured in a car accident.
2. He cheated on her for a few years first.
3. He filed for a marriage license with his next wife before he filed for divorce from the first wife.
4. He called his second wife the "c" word when she mentioned his hair was getting thin.
5. His second wife is a drug addict who stole drugs from a charity for third world kids.
6. He tried to use his influence to keep Keating out of jail during the savings and loan scandal.
7. Keating was one of his biggest (if not the biggest) campaign donors.
8. He voted with Bush 90% of the time.
9 He received the worst possible rating on environmental issues from the League of Women's Voters.
10. He is rich, and was raised rich.
11. He was born in Panama, not in the US.
12. He lied about giving the name of the football team roster to his South Vietnamese interrogators.
13 He received preferential treatment in captivity and was treated by Russian doctors because his father was an Admiral.
